Located on Surf Avenue in Coney Island, Brooklyn, on the site of the former Steeplechase Park,
the 7500-seat
MCU Park (named after the Municipal Credit Union, and formerly known as Keyspan Park) is the home of
the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Class A Affiliate team of the New York Mets. The team played -- and won -- their first home game at the park on
June 25th, 2001.

Directions to MCU ParkBy Car: Belt Parkway to Cropsey Avenue Exit (6S). Turn right onto Cropsey Avenue, Cropsey turns into West 17th Street. The ballpark is directly ahead.
By Subway: D, F, N or Q trains to Coney Island/Stillwell Avenue (last stop on all of those trains). Walk to corner of Stillwell and Surf Avenues (maybe stopping at Nathan's for a dog), turn right. Walk 2 blocks on Surf Ave to the park.
By Bus: B36, B64, B74, or B82 bus to Stillwell Avenue and Surf Avenue (look for Nathan's). Walk 2 blocks along Surf Ave to the park. |
