comes back to Coney Island for the 9th season on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from noon to 9PM.
The free, all-day, all-ages music festival attracts both gigantic crowds (an estimated 100,000 people in 2008) and top-name alternative acts: both indie rock vets like Phish, the New York Dolls, Tapes 'N Tapes, Spoon, Modest Mouse, Daft Punk, and the Scissor Sisters, as well as emerging artists. |

DIRECTIONS
The festival takes place along the Boardwalk at Coney Island with two large main stages,

By Car: Belt Parkway to Cropsey Avenue Exit (6S). Turn right onto Cropsey Avenue, Cropsey turns into West 17th Street. Commercial parking lots are available on West 17th Street and West 12th Street between Mermaid and Surf, W. 15th Street between the Boardwalk and Surf and on Neptune Avenue between West 12th and Stillwell Avenue.
By Subway: D, F, N or Q trains to Coney Island/Stillwell Avenue (last stop on all of those trains).
Approximate Travel Time from Times Square:
- Q Train: 50 Minutes
- N Train (express): 51 Minutes
- D Train: 54 Minutes
- F Train: 46 Minutes
By Bus: B36, B64, B74, or B82 bus to Stillwell Avenue and Surf Avenue. |
