Privacy Policy
This starter policy explains the basic information Brooklyn.com may collect and the third-party services it may use. It should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before a commercial launch, especially after analytics, advertising, maps, booking or payment tools are connected.
Information visitors provide
Visitors may voluntarily send information through their own email application when using the advertising inquiry form. Brooklyn.com does not store that inquiry in a website database.
Analytics and cookies
If analytics or advertising tools are enabled, those providers may use cookies or similar technology to measure visits, interactions, referrals and conversions. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. Brooklyn.com may receive a commission if a visitor completes an eligible transaction, at no additional cost to that visitor.
Google Maps Platform
If live place search is enabled, Brooklyn.com uses Google Maps Platform to return current place results. Use of those features is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms and the Google Privacy Policy. Brooklyn.com does not permanently store live Google Maps place content in the website database.
Published place-management sheet
Brooklyn.com may load editorial listings from a publicly published Google Sheet. Only public business-listing information should be placed in that sheet. Passwords, private notes, API keys and personal information must never be included.
Third-party websites
Brooklyn.com links to third-party businesses, maps, venues and booking services. Brooklyn.com does not control those websites, their availability or their privacy practices.
Contact
Questions may be sent to the contact address listed on the Brooklyn.com website.
